Gracious offers breakfast and brunch, pastries, sandwiches, salads, breads and dessert. Breakfast and Lunch Catering packages are also available with free delivery for orders of $100+ and online ordering is now available.

Let us help you set your Thanksgiving table. Cakes, pies, breads pastries and more will help make your holiday even more special. Order from now until noon on Sunday November 18th and pickup by 3 pm on Wednesday, November 22nd. Delivery is offered for orders of $100 or more. Call (504) 301-3709 Ext. 3.

Lunch

Lunch is served seven days a week starting at 11 AM. All sandwiches are made on breads baked in-house, and our creative offerings are changed up regularly to reflect the best of what the markets have to offer.

Catering

Win over clients and impress upper management with a delicious catering package from Gracious. We deliver pretty much all over the city and delivery is free ($100 minimum). Even better, you can now order online. As we bake off all breads daily, we do ask that orders be placed at least a day ahead but if you are in a tight spot give us a call at 504-301-3709 Ext. 3 and we can work something out.

 

Cakes

Who doesn’t love cake? Nihilists. Are you a nihilist? No. Then try our cake. And if you are a nihilist, it’s ok. We don’t judge. But you do have to be patient – cakes are made to order and require a 48-hour advance notice.

Megan Forman

~Co-Owner / Executive Pastry Chef~
Gracious is the realization of Megan Forman’s desire to open her own bakery focusing primarily on breads, artisan pastry and desserts. A graduate of the New England Culinary Institute, Megan was Bayona’s Pastry Chef for six years before leaving to help open Sucre, where she worked prior to starting Gracious. Megan has been awarded the Rising Star Pastry Chef from Star Chefs, and her work has appeared in Food Arts, Modern Bride and other publications.

Jay Forman

~Co-Owner / 3rd String Dishwasher~

Jay Forman made his fortune as a quant before vesting at the age of 23 and returning to his native New Orleans to take up the lute. He learned he had a disposition ill-suited for retirement but fortunately his wife opened a bakery about the same time and he signed on as a delivery boy and third-string dishwasher. He also steals cookies from the case when Megan isn’t looking.

Greg Aycock

~Savory~
As Lunch Production Manager, Greg enjoys the dual responsibilities of planning the lunch menu and making the delicious fare. Creating the various soups and preparing yummy meat is specifically what gets Greg out of bed in the morning!

Emma Bleach

~Bread~
Emma was an early adopter of gluten-free Play-Dough and it is this on-trend approach to sourcing that makes her such an asset to the Gracious team.

Allison’s cheerful smile and warm disposition keeps guests coming back at Gracious Bakery + Cafe. We are always happy to see her and know you will be too!

Heather Knudsen

~Director of Operations~
Heather’s prior experience as a professional cat herder serves her well in her current position as Director of Operations at Gracious. She’s the one who keeps it rolling.

Ramon Osorio

~Bread~
As the resident bread head, Ramon first mastered the subtle hues of bien cuit while roasting practice turkeys by the dozen as a child. You can see the results in the burnished mahogany crust of his boules.

Summer Veatch

~Pastry~

Two years of twice daily trips to patisseries and boulangeries in France taught Summer that “You are what you eat” is a real thing. Thankfully, she found a new outlet for her passion for pastry and satisfies her longings by making these delicious treats on a daily basis.
