Gracious offers coffee, pastries, sandwiches, salads, breads and dessert. Breakfast and Lunch Catering packages are also available with free delivery for orders of $80+
Gracious features a curated selection of locally roasted French Truck coffee and espresso, Taylor’s of Harrogate tea, homemade Sleepy Monkey Chai and New Orleans-style iced coffee.
Lunch is served starting at 11 AM. All sandwiches are made on breads baked in-house, and our creative offerings are changed up regularly to reflect the best of what the markets have to offer.

Gracious is the realization of Megan Forman’s desire to open her own bakery focusing primarily on breads, artisan pastry and desserts. A graduate of the New England Culinary Institute, Megan was Bayona’s Pastry Chef for six years before leaving to help open Sucre, where she worked prior to starting Gracious. Megan has been awarded the Rising Star Pastry Chef from Star Chefs, and her work has appeared in Food Arts, Modern Bride and other publications.

Jay Forman made his fortune as a quant before vesting at the age of 23 and returning to his native New Orleans to take up the lute. He learned he had a disposition ill-suited for retirement but fortunately his wife opened a bakery about the same time and he signed on as a delivery boy and third-string dishwasher. He also steals cookies from the case when Megan isn’t looking.
As Lunch Production Manager, Greg enjoys the dual responsibilities of planning the lunch menu and making the delicious fare. Creating the various soups and preparing yummy meat is specifically what gets Greg out of bed in the morning!

Megan handles the Astoria espresso machine and keeps customers coming back with her attention to detail. She also totally owns this beach.

Heather’s prior experience as a professional cat herder serves her well in her current position as FOH Manager at Gracious. She’s the one who keeps it rolling up front.

From making mud pies to making Mississippi Mud candy- Belle has always had a spot for anything sweet. So with that she decided that she’d skip the penny candy and learn how to make the best treats in the land. Now equipped with a little ‘know-how’ she can finally live up to her motto: “Be fat, be happy ;-)”
~ Savory ~
Mert is a native New Orleanian who has worked in the food industry for years, notably at La Spiga Bakery and Angelo Brocato. She is the reason that Gracious’s Tarragon Chicken Salad tastes so good.
Two years of twice daily trips to patisseries and boulangeries in France taught Summer that “You are what you eat” is a real thing. Thankfully, she found a new outlet for her passion for pastry and satisfies her longings by making these delicious treats on a daily basis.
